About SBS
SBS’ purpose is to design, develop and support Computer Software serving the
Risk Management (RM) needs of Businesses, Local Authorities and the companies to which they outsource their RM
operations.
SBS was founded in 1982, by the present Managing Director; Neil Stewart
and is based near Banbury, 3 miles East of M40 J11.
RM was an immediate software theme; with some of our earliest systems designed to assess
Customer Credit Worthiness in the New Homes and White Goods Markets.

In 1984, SBS was commissioned, by Tarmac, to build an RMIS system. The completed system
was soon adopted by BT and, since then, Risk Management and Insurance Systems have remained our focus. |
The SBS strategy is to offer a modular, configurable core product and to apply its
considerable experience to deliver a ready-to-use system, exactly matching the needs of a select number
of customers with unique demands.
