As well as offering variations of, and extensions to, MIMS SBS is able to provide bespoke applications for your specific needs.

One example, that went live in 2006, was to satisfy a client need to reduce product related incidents in the delivery chain in order to improve Customer Satisfaction around the world.

SBS delivered a web based service – used by global logistics partners – to allow capture of Goods-in-Transit incident data in near real-time.

Faster, more accurate input of data allows timely investigation of root causes and has led to increased third party recoveries, more pro-active quality improvement initiatives that in turn is giving the desired improved service to clients.

Although focused on Goods-In-Transit the essence of the system is contemporaneous capture of incident details and coordination of follow up activities - thus it can be applied in a range of situations.
